Founded in South Korea in 2016 by calligrapher Ahn Dong Hyuk, Wearingeul turns novels, poems and myths into ink, with each colour built around a single story.
Drawn from Poe’s short story of a man undone by a sound only he can hear, The Tell-Tale Heart is a deep burgundy with a rosy pink running through it, like a pulse you can see on the page. It’s lovely in a fountain pen for letters and journal pages, and just as at home in a glass or dip pen.
