Pion is a Taiwanese stationery studio founded in 2015 by a designer with over a decade of experience in the industry before starting the brand on her own. Her work begins with her own illustrations, later reworked into tape, stickers, and memo pads built for layering onto a page rather than sitting flat on top of it.
Each section of this tape is laid out like its own small floor mat, a quiet little scene rather than a repeating pattern in the usual sense. Follow it far enough and a lazy cat turns up at the end of the loop, stretched out and unbothered, the kind of detail that rewards someone who actually unrolls the whole thing rather than just cutting off the first piece. A nice one for pages about slow mornings, pets, or anything that could use a bit of quiet charm at the edge of the frame.
