Single Color is the simplest of Hobonichi’s zip-around covers. Made from Italian polyurethane with a fine embossed grain, it is light in the hand yet substantial, opens flat to 180°, and keeps one bold gold zip as its only ornament.
Lago is Italian for lake, and the blue is that deep, still surface just before anything disturbs it. One colour, edge to edge, with a fine embossing across every side that catches the light and keeps the surface from reading flat — a grain you notice more with your fingertips than your eyes. Deep blue is a forgiving colour, too: it takes the marks of daily carrying quietly and settles among whatever else is on the desk.
Sized for the A6 techo, and light enough that you forget it’s a zip cover at all. The Italian polyurethane feels substantial rather than thin, the zip runs the whole way round, and the pen hook inside takes a pen by its clip.
