Kakimori is a stationery shop in Kuramae, Tokyo, founded in 2010 on the idea that we should write with joy. It’s known for notebooks bound to order in the shop and for Inkstand, where customers blend their own fountain pen ink from base colours.
The Hobonichi Techo prints its twelve months in twelve soft colours, and the TSUKI no IRO series carries those colours out into stationery. Six mini bottles, blended to match the printed colours of January through June — a way of writing each month in its own shade.
The ink is water-based pigment, water-resistant and slow to fade in light, which makes it a good choice for a diary you intend to keep for a long time.
