Hobonichi’s leather covers are genuine cow leather, matte and fine-grained, soft from the first day rather than needing to be broken in. Because the hide is natural, every cover carries its own wrinkles, veins and tanning marks — yours will not look like anyone else’s.
This cowhide is finished all over in silver foil, which gives it a smart, composed look quite unlike the usual leather cover. The headbands at the top and bottom of the spine come in white, and the satin ribbon bookmarks in white and dark grey.
The Weeks is the slim one: a week across the left page, a grid page on the right, and a long run of grid pages at the back.
