2027 Hobonichi Weeks COVER: Tragen - Bitter Plaid

Hobonichi

Tragen takes its name from the German verb to carry. It’s a soft nylon tri-fold with a quiet sheen, closing with a magnet, and fitted with a gusseted zip pocket, card slots and a clip-style pen hook. The brief was effortless elegance — sharp without ever being flashy.

Bitter Plaid draws fine beige and light blue lines across a deep brown ground. It’s a plaid that stays balanced — never too casual, never too sweet — and the muted base gives it a grown-up steadiness that suits a desk as easily as a coat pocket. It isn’t a pattern that will date on you.

Sized for the Weeks. The tri-fold folds around the slim book and closes with a magnet, and the gusseted zip pocket holds enough pens and small stationery to make a separate pencil case unnecessary. Card slots sit alongside, so the whole thing can travel as a small carry-all with a planner in it.
