A collaboration with the Japanese fashion brand beautiful people. For 2027 they’ve made a see-through cover with an embossed finish, designed so the colour and pattern of the book underneath show through and layer with the texture.
Nothing to Hide is transparent PVC embossed with a crocodile pattern — the texture of something guarded and expensive, given away entirely by the fact that you can see straight through it. It comes in a pink and yellow combination, and whatever techo you slide inside becomes part of the design, its colour and pattern reading up through the embossing and shifting as the light moves. A good joke, well made.
Sized for the A5 techo. The tri-fold stays shut with a button and has an interior pen hook for a pen held by its clip. It arrives in exclusive Hobonichi Techo packaging, which makes it an easy thing to hand over as a gift. Sized for the A5 techo, it is also the cover that shows the most of the book underneath.
