There are 5 new colours that have been added to the standard iromoyo ink pad collection that were only available in Japan when they were originally released in 2021.    

Akane color that has been used as a dye for a long time along with indigo. 
Akanesasu which is red and represents a beautiful and shining view, is used as a makurakotoba in Japanese poems.

Shachihata 'Iromoyo' ink pads are influenced by traditional Japanese colors used in arts, textiles, and crafts. The ink is such that it is easy to produce a clear image even with stamps that have intricate designs and it does not bleed through most papers. Ink is acid-free, oil-based, and waterproof (when completely dry).
