Pilot Iro-Utsushi Dip Pen Wood - Natural (M Nib)

Pilot

"Iro-Utsushi" is a dip pen type writing instrument that allows you to write while dipping the nib into fountain pen ink. Unlike a typical "dip pens", the tip of the pen has a pen point similar to a fountain pen, so the touch on the paper is soft and you can write fine letters and illustrations smoothly.

Also, by rinsing the nib with water and wiping it off with a cloth, you can easily enjoy various ink colors in quick succession. A line is engraved on the pen tip so that you can see at a glance where to dip the pen in the ink.

How to use your Iro-Utsushi:

  • Before use, soak the pen tip in water and wipe it off with a cloth.
  • Dip pen into ink and use the engraved line on the tip of the pen as a guide.
  • Tap of any excess and begin writing
  • If the shaft is stained with ink, wipe it off with a cloth.
  • When changing the ink color, wash the pen tip with water and wipe it off with a cloth before using the next ink.
