Sanzen Tomoe River continues the legacy of the legendary Tomoe River paper after its production ended at Tomoegawa Paper Mill in 2021. Now made by Sanzen Paper in Kanazawa, this 52gsm paper has been refined through repeated trial production to match the beloved qualities of the original — lightweight yet strong, beautifully smooth, and especially suited to fountain pens. It showcases ink shading and sheen with remarkable clarity, making it a favorite among writing enthusiasts worldwide.
Each pad includes 50 sheets, bound with a cloth-wrapped top edge, and comes with a reusable writing guide sheet (10mm ruled / 5mm grid).
