Join us for this special 2.5-hour beginner-friendly session where Justine will guide participants through the fundamentals of lettering and colour mixing using Mildliner Brush Pens and Mildliner No Moto Ink. With both skill and creativity, Justine makes the workshop a welcoming space where beginners and experienced letterers alike can explore, practice, and enjoy the art of brush lettering with colour.

In this class, we will cover:

Brush Lettering Basics
Learn how to hold and control a brush pen to achieve thick and thin strokes, explore basic drills, and build a basic foundation for expressive lettering.

Letter and Word Formation
Move from individual strokes to full letters, and then to words, this section will help you begin shaping your own unique lettering voice.

Colour Theory
Explore how colours interact, the basics of complementary and analogous palettes, and how to choose colour combinations to elevate your lettering projects.

Colour Blending
Experiment with layering and blending Mildliner colours to create smooth gradients, soft shadows, and eye-catching effects that bring your words to life.
