There are 5 new colours that have been added to the standard iromoyo ink pad collection that were only available in Japan when they were originally released in 2021.
Deep green with a bluish tinge, like the stem of a horsetail used for polishing wood and vessels. A calm colour that has been favored by samurai since the Kamakura period.
Shachihata 'Iromoyo' ink pads are influenced by traditional Japanese colours used in arts, textiles, and crafts. The ink is such that it is easy to produce a clear image even with stamps that have intricate designs and it does not bleed through most papers. Ink is acid-free, oil-based, and waterproof (when completely dry).
