Inspired by the charming paper bags you might receive at a bustling marché overseas, this mini letter set captures that same small thrill of shopping under open skies. Imagine stalls filled with fresh vegetables, warm bread, coffee beans, and the occasional sweet donut or biscuit—the envelopes echo those imaginary shop bags, bringing a touch of everyday delight to your correspondence.

Part of the Kami Marche series, this set is made with Mino washi, a traditional Japanese paper with over 1,300 years of history from Mino City in Gifu Prefecture. The writing paper features a simple graph layout, giving you the freedom to write, sketch, or add small details of your own. The petite size makes it easy to include a short note without feeling formal or overdone.

The envelope design mimics a tiny paper bag—playful and unexpected—and can even be reused to hold small keepsakes beyond your letter. It’s a thoughtful choice for messages to friends, family, or colleagues, offering a warmth that feels distinctly personal.
