Tono & Lims Fountain Pen Ink - Paper Plus Cloth 2026 - Kintsugi

Tono & Lims

Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken ceramics with gold, a practice rooted in the belief that breakage and flaws are part of an object's history rather than something to hide. Where most would discard what is cracked, kintsugi honours it, highlighting the fracture lines in gold and making them a beautiful part of the piece.

This ink captures that image. A rich, dark blue-green indigo with gold shimmer running through it, it holds the depth of the ceramic and the warmth of the repair in a single stroke.

A creative collaboration between a Japanese stationery brand and the South Korean ink producer Lim’s Lab, Tono & Lims brings together the refined sensibilities of both regions to create fountain pen inks that are expressive, high-performing, and endlessly imaginative. Their collections are beloved by writers and artists for their smooth flow, vivid color, and playful character collaborations.
