Smooth is built from two layers of soft polyurethane, giving the cover a pillowy, squeezable give that's oddly hard to put down. The colours are named after sweets, and the cover bends easily enough to pocket.
A chic sand beige that slips into whatever you happen to be wearing and looks natural doing it. Café au Lait is the quieter end of the range — warm rather than pale, and easy to live with from one season to the next.
A week runs across the left page with a grid page opposite, followed by a long run of grid pages at the back for the notes that don't belong to any one day. The design is bound into the book itself, so there is no separate cover to add — it comes ready to be written in.
