InCoWriMo is not just about sending letters, it's about creating a personal connection with others, expressing oneself in a creative and meaningful way and taking a break from our digital world. It's a chance to slow down, reflect and appreciate the art of letter writing, something that has become a lost tradition in the digital age. The goal is to promote the practice of letter writing as a way to connect with others, create lasting memories, and express oneself creatively. Participants often find that the process of writing a letter, choosing the perfect stationery, selecting the right words, and sending it off in the mail, is a meditative and satisfying experience. It’s a way to connect with people who you may not have talked to in a while, to express yourself in a way that feels more personal than an email or text message and to create something tangible and lasting.
