If you're joining us from Europe or the United Kingdom, you may find that you receive the following error upon trying to check-out:
"This order can’t be shipped to the address you entered. Review your address to ensure that all fields have been entered correctly and try again."
Due to changes in taxation and remission of value-added tax (VAT) that came into effect within the European Union in 2021, it has been much more challenging for North American businesses to ship to the EU and UK.
Currently, we are offering the following work-around to our international customers using Etsy. Etsy is a platform that is already set up with a Tax Number and system to collect and remit the VAT on your behalf.
- We ask that you please email us with the Subject Line UK Order Inquiry or EU Order Inquiry (depending on where you are), and attach a screenshot of your paperpluscloth.com shopping cart, in addition to your shipping address, so we can calculate the cost of shipping.
- We will prepare a custom order through our Etsy shop, which we will then forward to you via email, for your payment.
- Once payment is received, we will proceed with shipping your order. Once your order is processed for shipping, you will receive an email with the relevant tracking information.
Please note:
There may be a slight difference in pricing between what you see on our website, and what is charged to you through Etsy. This is because our prices on our online store and on Etsy do not automatically include VAT fees. However, when you proceed to checkout on Etsy, the VAT is included for you to pay upfront.
