Covid-19 Update from Paper Plus Cloth

Hello friends,

In the wake of recent developments with respect to the Covid-19 virus, we felt the need to address the situation and outline the steps we are taking to reduce risks.  We want you to know the health of our customers, instructors and anyone who visits our store is a top priority for us.

Status of scheduled workshops:

Based on the current level of risk and extra precautions that we will be taking, currently scheduled workshops will continue to run until further notice.

What steps are we taking?

We are monitoring the situation very closely and we’re fortunate to have a Specialist in Occupational Health and Safety on our team.  Our consultant has public health pandemic planning experience and will provide the latest protocols in dealing with the virus in our store/workspace. We are also following the resources and advice provided by Canada Public Health, the Government of Canada, CDC (Centres for Disease Control) and the WHO (World Health Organization) and will adjust as their advice changes.

All registered attendees for workshops will be sent a screening form to go through and confirm prior to attending any class/meetup. It is meant to identify anyone who may pose a risk, to keep them from attending the workshop/meetup and to get help if necessary.

Hand sanitizer will be available for students and customers and all tables and tools will be wiped down with disinfectant before and after each class.

Instructors and staff will also be self monitoring and practicing good hygiene. Any staff or instructor that is feeling symptomatic will be required to stay home and students will be notified.

We would like to reassure currently registered students that should you be required to opt out of your class, we will be happy to provide you with a credit to reschedule for a future class.

How you can help:
Please stay home if you are experiencing any flu-like symptoms or respiratory issues and all Telehealth at 1-866-797-0000 for further instructions. We will be relying on our customers to self monitor and to stay home if they have symptoms and have been exposed either from recent travel or through contact with someone who has traveled recently and is experiencing flu/respiratory symptoms.

Further Updates:

As we monitor the situation, any updates will be posted to our website and social media profiles and emailed out to students. Feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions.

Thank you for your support during these trying times.
