Join us for an introductory workshop on Pointed pen calligraphy. In this workshop you will learn how to use the tools as well as learn the basics of pointed pen scripts. We will start with learning how to prepare and use a pointed pen (commonly known as a nib). We will work with a straight holder and talk about the types of available holders and when best to use them.
At the end of the workshop you will not only be able to use a pointed pen but also differentiate among the various pointed pen scripts. We will spend time learning the basics so you can get a feel for them.
This is a great workshop for beginners as well as brush calligraphers looking to get into pointed pen calligraphy.
