Ateliers Pénélope AP #8 Pan Shoulder Bag
Ateliers Pénélope has been making bags and accessories from canvas at their Nakameguro atelier since 1996, developing original materials and treatments that improve with use. The AP #8 Pan is made from No. 8 canvas that has been one-washed, giving it a broken-in feel from the start while keeping it lightweight and structured.
It is sized for a focused day out — pens, a slim notebook, a phone, and a 500ml bottle all fit without the bag feeling heavy or bulky. Two interior compartments keep things separated, and the double-slider zipper at the top opens and closes smoothly with one hand. A logo print on the bottom gusset, backed with quilted batting for stability, gives the bag its shape without adding weight. The adjustable shoulder strap sits comfortably across a range of heights.
The one-washed canvas has a natural, lived-in character that continues to develop with use.
