Hyogotsu which prospered as a key point for maritime traffic from the Heian period to recent years, still has many ancient and modern remains, and is also a Japanese heritage site as a port of call for Kitamaebune ships. It is also said that the name of the prefecture "Hyogo" was taken from the name of Hyogo Tsu, which was also the first prefectural capital. The deep blue of Hyogotsu, which is suitable for the starting point of unraveling the history of Kobe, is expressed as "History Blue".
