Founded in South Korea in 2016 by calligrapher Ahn Dong Hyuk, Wearingeul turns novels, poems and myths into colour, first in ink and now in pens to match.
The Preface takes its palette from Wearingeul’s Robinson Crusoe ink, with sea blues and island greens swirling through cellulose acetate and a soft shimmer that shows as you turn it in the light. It arrives with a Fine steel nib fitted and a spare Medium nib unit, so you can swap line widths for journaling, letters or everyday notes. It fills from the bottle with the included converter, and this updated version adds a metal centre ring.
No two pens carry the exact same swirl, each on is unique.
