The Paintable Stamp from Midori is one of their most playful ideas: self-inking stamps built for layering color and pattern onto a page without needing a steady drawing hand.
This latest addition brings a new shade to the lineup, a soft brown ink designed to sit easily alongside pen colors, stickers and masking tape rather than compete with them. Because the ink is built into the stamp itself, there's no separate pad to manage. Each press lays down crisp, delicate detail for the first 10 to 12 uses, and the stamp keeps going for roughly 2,000 presses total before it needs a refresh. The oil-based pigment ink dries smudge-proof, so once stamped, the pattern can be colored in with water-based markers or brush pens without blurring or bleeding. When the ink does fade, the separately sold Paintable Stamp Refill Ink Mini in Soft Color Brown brings it back to life.
The rotating dial holds 12 patterns in Midori's soft, hand-drawn lettering style, easy to spin and stamp one after another. It pairs especially well with the Yuru Log products for a page that feels put together without looking overworked.
