Ink Institute Fountain Pen Ink - Cats Daily: Cat at Midnight

This is a near-black, purple-blue ink that reveals itself slowly the longer you look at it. In dense applications it settles into a velvety midnight tone, almost black but still carrying a cool indigo pulse beneath the surface. When the light hits just right, a wild red sheen flashes across the page — a sudden streak of mischief in an otherwise shadowed colour.

In finer lines, the ink softens into a dusky blue-violet, giving writing a moody, nocturnal character. It feels like the restless energy of a cat who only comes alive after you’ve fallen asleep — slipping through the dark in search of trouble and tiny thrills.
