Ateliers Pénélope AP Hole Tote (S)
Ateliers Pénélope has been making bags and accessories from canvas at their Nakameguro atelier since 1996, developing original materials and treatments that improve with use. The AP Hole Tote (S) is made from No. 6 canvas that has been bio-stonewashed, giving it a softer, more relaxed hand than untreated canvas while retaining the durability the material is known for.
Compact enough for a focused day out, it holds a notebook, a few pens, and the essentials without excess. The half-moon handle attachment points are designed for a comfortable grip, and the handles are wrapped in cowhide leather that will darken and soften over time. Inside, a two-compartment pocket keeps a phone or small items in order, and the removable plywood base keeps the bag standing and its shape intact.
The bio-stonewashed canvas and leather handles will both develop character with regular use.
