Introduction to Brush Calligraphy
Brush calligraphy is a beautiful art form that can be used to add a personal touch to everything from greeting cards to event signage. In this three-hour workshop, students will learn the fundamentals of modern brush pen calligraphy, including how to hold a brush pen, how to form basic strokes and how to connect these strokes to form lowercase letters and words. Students will receive a set of brush pens and a workbook that they can take home to continue their practice. No experience is needed to join this workshop, just a willingness to have fun and try something new!

About the Instructor
Erica Pinto is a hand lettering artist from Toronto, Canada. She has been practicing hand lettering and calligraphy since 2015 and is thrilled to share her passion for beautiful letters with others. Erica's client work includes classes and workshops, brand partnerships and live calligraphy events. She is also one of the founders of the Toronto Lettering Crew (@TorontoLetteringCrew), which hosts regular meet-ups for calligraphy and lettering enthusiasts in the Toronto area.
