Workshop details:

May 25, 2019 10:00am - 2:00pm

This class is for absolutely anyone who has a desire to experience, with fun, ease and flow, how the ritual of art journaling can feed the soul and be a tool for personal growth.

You will experience the seemingly magical paradox of how the mindful nature of this practice, the ‘being here now’ and letting go of limiting ideas, seems to work wonders towards actively creatively and inviting what you wish for.

Over time an art journal becomes a personalized road map from which to navigate while simultaneously recording the magic of the journey.

We will open the class with simple writing and drawing prompts, then introduce collage to delight in how we can naturally create meaningful images for ourselves through making simple observations, intuitive choices and connections.

The class concludes with expanding on the many ways that you can maintain a ritual relationship with your art journal at home that suits you.

You will never be at a loss as to where to start with a blank page and will be literally well equipped with beautiful creative tools that will invite and motivate you to play and practice often!

Please bring your favourite pens and notebook that you would like to begin your journal entries in, as well as any special paper ephemera that you would like to include.  All other supplies will be provided including a beautiful custom pouch made by textile brand Bookhou, to house your supplies.
