We are partnering with Monika from Salt & Paper to bring back one of her first in-person workshops since Covid started. Monika is a talented artist whose speciality is rubber stamp carving which has lead to her recently starting her own greeting card company under the Salt & Paper banner.
Rubber stamp carving is a fun and unique way to express your creativity and add a personal touch to your crafts, cards, and other artistic projects. With Monika as your guide and teacher, she will guide you through the process step by step, teaching you the techniques and tools needed to create a beautiful floral design just in time for spring.
Throughout the workshop, you will learn about the different types of rubber blocks and carving tools, and how to use them to create different effects and textures. You will also learn how to transfer your designs onto the rubber block and carve out your image with precision and accuracy.
By the end of the class, you will have created your very own custom rubber stamp, and will leave with the skills and knowledge to continue carving stamps on your own. Monika’s stamp carving kits will be available for purchase so you can take the skills you learned and create even more designs.
No prior experience is necessary for this workshop, making it perfect for beginners and those with some experience alike. All materials will be provided for use, including rubber blocks, carving tools, etc.
