In this workshop, each participant will make their own alpaca ornament using the needle felt technique. The group will have the opportunity to explore the use of curly wool and work with quality wool made in Japan. All participants will go home with a needle felt kit and a cute, one-of-a-kind handmade ornament.
Don't miss this opportunity to join us for a fun, inspiring and therapeutic morning! Kit includes: wool, two needles, foam block, extra material to make more ornaments at home.
What is needle felting? Needle felting is a technique that involves using barbed needles to repetitively poke into wool fibers to form shapes and create firmer sculptures.
This is a great introductory workshop for those wishing to explore needle felting, pick up a new craft or challenge themselves before the year ends. This piece works as perfect ornament or handmade gifts for your family and friends this holiday season!
*All supplies will be provided in your needle felting starter kit that you will take home
About the instructor:
Hi! I'm Tiffany, the maker and founder of Heartfelt Bundles. I am a self-taught needle felt artist whose work is inspired by my love and curiosity for nature and animals. This hobby grew into my side hustle over the years and pushed me to accomplish things I would never imagined, such as joining craft markets and hosting workshops. I would be delighted to share what I've learned with you and my hope is that our time together will spark creativity and inspiration.
