For the 15th Anniversary of MD Products, Midori invited 15 artists to create a design that has been embossed (*without color) on the cover. Due to limited and set quantities per design, there will be a limit of one notebook per artist, per customer.
Carefully crafted by the skilled manufacturers in Japan, this MD Notebook gives you that superb pleasant feeling on every single writing experience. Each notebook has 176 pages, thread-stitched binding, includes a bookmark string / with a Index sticker / wrapped in PP bag.

Kenji Nakayama is a Hokkaido-born, Boston-based visual artist and sign painter. After moving to the USA, he graduated from the Butera School of Art, a specialist sign-painting school. He has worked on the designs for many billboards, along with many art projects and designs for company branding.

"I tend to practice on white paper, and that's what inspired me to be a part of this project. My unstructured, scribbly script expresses the way I never follow guidelines—my focus is on the rhythm of my writing and the balance between the letters and the white paper".
