Join us for an introductory workshop on wax seal making. In this 2.5 hour workshop you will learn how to create wax seals and discover the fun of the latest techniques to make your seals unique and beautiful. We will show you how to create beautiful seal finishes to finish off gifts, holiday cards and gift tags.
We will cover what are wax seals, what they were used for and how they are used now and 10 different ways to create a wax seal using different methods of application, ingredients and tools. You will have access to our collection of wax seal stamps to experiment with and all supplies will be provided for use during the class.
You will also learn about the different types of wax and wax seal tools available on the market and what they are best used for. At the end of the workshop you will take home at least a dozen of your own wax seals to apply to gifts, envelopes, cards and tags for future use.
All supplies will be provided. Participants will take home finished wax seals.
